Haven't done this in years: decrypting and converting?

So the last time I did a vid was back in 2004. I used to use DVD decrypter but I read in another post that due to its age, it can't really keep up with some of the new DVDs. I don't mind having to pay for a program as long as the price isn't insane, but is there anything out there compatible with Windows 7 that is easy to use? I haven't done this in years so I pretty much have the training wheels back on. :(

Trying to remember if ibonly need DVD Decrypter last time or if i needed two programa then too. Looks like handbreak makes a not about only workig on unprotected doscs. Does anydvd take care of the issue?
