AMVapp Install

I am installing AMVApp 3.0 on my new computer and everything goes relatively smoothly until I get to the part with the video tests. At that point, all but one of the videos fails and the error is the following:

The procedure entry point RunDIIW (or RunDllW?) could not be located in the dynamic link library msdxm.ocx

I clicked "no" on the pop up that asked me if all of the tests worked and that error isn't listed on the help page of common errors that came up. Anybody got any ideas? (I'm running windows 7 64x and the only vidding software I had installed prior to attempting to install AMVapp was editing software like CS5 and Sony Vegas, no encoding/compression/ripping software.)

I'm posting this at the amv forum as well but thought someone here might be able to help.

I was unsure about this advice because it was from 2006 and wanted me to install WMP 6.4, haha. It appears I was installing the old version of AMVapp anyway, so I'm going to go ahead and try that. If it doesn't work I'll come back to this and see if it makes more sense then. Thanks!
