I've remastered two Forever Knight videos. Bridge Over Troubled Water has some changes made during the remastering.

Ribbon of Darkness has 4 clips that remained the SAME during the remastering. I sort of got carried away. It turned from a Nick/LaCroix and Nick/Natalie video into a Nick/LaCroix and Nick/Janette video. Actually, the whole mood of the end changed, too. As long as I'm making the mp2s, I thought I might as well remaster the songs from digital files closer to the originals. Makes things brighter, but Forever Knight video quality is never what you wish it was. There's actually one middle section in Badlands that's still from off the air Beta tape. Turns out that they placed the credits in a different place at the start of "Last Act" than they did in the DVDs. So you actually got more usable vampire suicide scene off air. My intention is to chunk my way through the Forever Knight videos if there's interest in the remastered mp4s and mp2s. Otherwise I'll start working on getting up mp2s from some other fandom. Lyrics and score - the video actually was made to the lyrics. I transcribed the original score of maybe 2/3 of this light opera into the Mozart music program and this is the midi result. For quite a while I got the most marvelous catalogs from the music place in London. I've usually used the various songs from the 'The Duenna' as slash vehicles.

We used to have our own separate machine in a back room in Connecticut. Paul discovered that with the drop in storage prices, he could get a different machine with much larger capacity and bandwidth at a lower monthly cost. So we've switched! If you aren't seeing the video I'm announcing, which I hope will be few of you, it means that your internet is still pointed to our old server. It will automatically update soon.

The biggest bonus with this new machine is that it fits having mp2 versions up of ALL 495 of our music videos!!!!!!! Of course, getting them there is the trick and the time. But, for now, Forever Knight is the only fandom with every video up in at least mp4 quality.

This version of Hallelujah is sung by the songwriter, Leonard Cohen. I've also done the song for Buffy using the version by John Cale, whose version appeared in the movie Shrek, but not in the soundtrack album. One is aimed at bad relationships, the other at the joy of, to quote LaCoix, free food. Completely different feels. Same song. Fascinating (to quote another well-loved one).
