Video split

Hi,
I am trying to split a video (~730Mb) using Virtual Dub, but I keep getting AVIs that have sizes of 2Gb+.
Could anyone tell me please what am I doing wrong?

What's likely happening is that you're processing the video stream. Depending on the codec, all you should have to do is go into the video options and tell it to do Direct Stream Processing.

I am, however, unsure whether this will work with all encoded files. No guarantees that both parts will work.
