You'll find up on the site two songs marked as having new audio tracks. I was able to borrow filk tapes from a friend. Those tapes also showed me the confusion I was having between two songs. There's all sorts of markers to warn you how to change your file names.

Hey everyone, I’m new to this community and I came here primarily for pimping. I’m terribly sorry. ;) My friend and I started a community called

sff_vidding

which, as was quickly brought to our attention, was almost obsolete. So we’ve changed things up a little and have decided to put the emphasis on challenges and award giving. Any fandom is welcome as long as it’s considered sci-fi or fantasy.

         There will be two monthly challenges; a theme, and something else (black and white, a certain song something of that sort) the qualifying submissions will be judged by the mods and narrowed down until there is a manageable amount of entries for voting. Then we will list the entries and the lovely members will be asked to vote for their favorites. As well as this, there will be a monthly mods choice award, any and every vid posted here whether it be for a challenge, theme or just for fun will be automatically entered to win this. So come one and all, and bring your vids with you!

Hey guys. I tried my best to make a music video with Windows Movie Maker but I kept having problems. Does anyone know what program is good to make music videos? I'm almost done but WMM keeps giving me problems.

Okay, now. I have two questions that I would be forever thankful to you for answering if you could. I am using Windows Movie Maker to make vids, and for some reason, it won't let me edit clips any shorter than 4 seconds long. If I try to make them shorter, it simply refuses to. Is there some special way to go about doing this? Secondly, I've seen vids where the actual footage is silent while the song plays, and then in one or two spots, the vidder has allowed the voices of the characters in the vid to come through over top of the song. I tried to do this, and even used the help menus in an attempt to figure it out, but any time I changed the audio balance thing for one clip, it changed it for the entire vid. Is there a way to do this that I'm missing, or do you have to use a program other than WMM? Thanks for any help you can offer. :)
