Title:  I'd Come For You

Description:  Seeing as how I took my favorite Nickelback love song at the time, "Far Away," and made a Jack/Ianto video out of it, it only seemed appropriate that my new favorite Nickelback love song, "I'd Come For You," and apply it to my original OTP. This song just seems only too perfect to represent dear Brian's thoughts about one Justin Taylor. It's sweet, honest, even a bit romantic but at the same time, it's not so over-the-top sappy that Brian comes across sounding like a big, giggly girl (or as he would say, a lesbian.) It's got angst, romance, self-doubt, and an honest assessment of what this little blonde twink has come to mean to the hard-hearted Stud of Liberty Avenue. All in all, a little bit of everything.

Notes:   There are two versions of this vid.  The original took some creative criticism regarding clip-length and editing choices and blossomed into this version.  I still have the original so I can always look back and see how it's grown, but trust me, this is the one you want to see.

Notes: Okay, I humbly stand back and admit this vid is no where near my current standards.  In fact, watching it now, I all but cringe.  But, for my first shot, I don't think it turned out too terrible.  It was this song with this storyline behind it that finally inspired me to get off my butt and start my own vids.  I had requested it before, but no one had taken it up.  So,  once I was able (meaning had the software) I decided to give it a shot myself.  Who knows...maybe one day I'll go back and re-do it so it's on par with my others...maybe...

Notes:  This vid is a bit different from my other QAF vids.  Up to this point, they've all been pretty heavy, pretty angsty.  But, this vid is all about the love...it's as fluffy a vid as I can come up with without stripping the characters down and (in my mind) destroying them completely.  You tell me if I got it right...

Summary: This vid attempts to capture some of the most emotional moments in Children of Earth.  And, yes, that means that THAT SCENE is in it...probably (hopefully) the most poignant piece actually given its subject matter. So watch at your own risk, and I dare say keep tissues handy.

Summary:   This video is all about poor Brian's cancer from Season 4. Brian is so determined to do this on his own, but as usual Justin sees right through his tough-guy, 'I don't need anyone' facade...down to the just plain scared human being Brian really is. And, try as he might, Brian just can't seem to escape him.
Warnings: Angst ahead (it is the cancer arc, after all). Plus, male/male relationships (after all, it is Queer As Folk) though, nothing explicit
Notes:   This vid was challenging because I limited myself to clips from only the latter half of season 4.   Since it was all about Brian's cancer, it felt like cheating to use anything other than episodes that involved the actual disease...from the original doctor in the backroom that found the lump to the season 4 finale.  Tough to use only a half-season's worth of material when I'd gotten used to using 5 seasons' worth...

Summary: This is a combination video. Queer As Folk meets Torchwood. Or should I say Brian Kinney meets Captain Jack Harkness...sort of. This vid just kind of draws a parallel between two enigmatic characters (and their relationships) that don't necessarily have much in common ...or do they?
Warnings: Spoilers for all seasons of both shows (except Torchwood Season 3), Plus, male/male relationships,but nothing explicit.
Notes:  This was bound to happen eventually...I'm not much on crossover vids, but these two guys just had too much in common to keep apart for long.

Notes: This is my second Torchwood video, and it uses one of my favorite songs of all time.  While sweet and romantic, it's not over the top or  insulin-requiringly sweet.   (Also, it's my sister's all-time favorite and she threatened my life if I didn't use it for a Janto vid.)
