I recently found out about how you can change the aspect ratio in WMM2 and I was wondering if I could rip my DVDs in a 16.9 ratio without it looking stretched out. How do I know if I can do that?

Also, are there any good tutorials out there about DVD ripping? I have only used one that deals with VirtualDub and AudioSync and I'm looking to find others just to see which works best.

Thanks!

I don't know about ripping them and changing them at the same time. I have tweaked mine after I ripped them by adding some code to the avs file that I open in VirtualDub.

I used http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/aspectratios.html as my guide. I was specifically interested in using 4:3 and 16:9 sources in a vid and this solved the problems I was having with aspect ratio.
