This is mainly for people who know something about Windows Movie Maker 2, but maybe other people could help too. I've been asking around, and still can't find what the problem is :(

Whenever I import any song, this noise gets added over it. I've made a sample for you to listen to and see what I mean (please right click and choose 'save target as' to download)

If anyone could help me at all then I would very much appreciate it.

Had the same problem here. WMM's fussy about mp3s, I don't know why. What I do to fix it is convert my mp3 to .wma outside of WMM first, and then use the .wma file instead of the mp3.

Am I just betraying my ignorance here and asking the Dumbest Question Ever by asking how to do that, please?

Google 'mp3 to wma', it'll get you a dozen converting programs.
