Not sure what you meanexactly, but you can either have 16:9 or 4:3 - any source different to those used in the vid will be squished to fit which ever one you have selected. I haven't found a way round it yet and if anyone knows of one please do reveal.
If all your source is the same aspect ratio then just choose under Tools>Options>Advanced and select ratio & PAL/NTSC.
If you already knew that then sorry I couldn't help.
Don't worry! There's a way to fix it! This is what I do. Before importing the video into WMM, I run it through a (free) program called TMPGEnc, found here (http://www.tmpgenc.net/). (It's also one of the programs I use in the ripping DVDs process, but that's not important for this.)
