I finished my second video recently, and would love to get some feedback/criticism. It can be downloaded from my website Dead But Still Pretty> Its not at all complex or original as far as concepts or narratives go, I was concentrating mostly on trying to do get the clips mesh with the changing mood and tempo of the music. And on trying to get to grips with Premiere ;-). I'm not especially thrilled with the first half, so if anyone *does* watch it and get bored with that bit, then skip to the second half for something completely different.

Way to go and thanks for sharing.

Date: 2004-01-26 04:07 am (UTC)As a bit of critical feedback (since I know that's what I hope for when I post, at least), there isn't very much to say, since a lot of this verges on absolute perfection. Um. There were only two areas that felt a bit off to me, although it's probably nitpicky.
When Buffy hits Glory twice, it feels a bit awkward. I think it actually has to do with how much talking Buffy does in the second shot, since it's in the middle of the sequence and there wasn't much talking leading up to that point. Also, during Buffy's actual jump/death, the timing of the cuts feels a bit strange. (Both of these are only really noticable because the rest of it is just so precise.)
But, yeah. Like I said, I loved it. (Enough to keep it on my hard drive even though I'm running drastically short on room, if that means anything.)
