I finished a new Buffy vid last night. You can find it at:
http://www.wolfpupserenade.com/roc.html
Song: Red Oyster Cult
Artist: Guster
Description: Rack sells the benefits of magick crackdom to Willow by playing on her insecurities.
Format: RealMedia (.rm)
Comments and critiques are welcome. My struggle with this vid was in making it understandable. It's fairly context heavy, so it may not make any sense to folks who have only a passing knowledge of the series. For well-versed fans, I am especially interested to hear if you "got it," as narratively it's the most complicated vid I've done so far. I might even be a bit too obvious with the narrative, and that's good to know too.
Regarding vid descriptions/liner notes: I know vidders are divided on the subject, but is there any sense of "better too much than too little," or is it really pretty much personal choice?

Hah! :) I might be imagining it, but at one time I thought I read people debating over their use and whether they might sully the experience. But, no, no one forces you to open the readme. At least I hope not.
By the way, I should have done this months ago, but I have to tell you that I absolutely adore your "Mary" vid. It spurred me to go buy that album first of all, which is always good, but most importantly it made me actually like and sympathize with Drusilla, which I never thought would happen. It's a beautiful vid.
Very belatedly...
