Vidders.net is open for vid watching & uploads (especially for vids that may be blocked from any of the other video hosting & streaming sites). All videos that stream on the site will be automatically set up for archiving & back up. All videos (yes all 18k plus) hosted on the site hosted since its inception in 2009 and up to the last month have been backed up on a hard drive and shipped off site for safe keeping and preservation of historical record (I'm not exactly sure that means but it sounds good). Full Disclosure: There are some drawbacks to be aware of though if you are planning to host there - video quality is not HD or mobile (maybe a little bit better than VHS quality?) but you can upload as much as you want, comment, & share. You can do so with no concern for strikes, geographic blocking, muting, account deletion because of strikes from prior uploads, forced alternate music tracks, Content ID or pitch shifting. Options for HD and Mobile streaming are available as a premium option wth the same benefits for those interested. More updates on the way but just wanted to get something out short and sweet to start things off given our May month officially starts today.  I may edit this post later if needed or remove it altogether if no longer relevant.
