This is a movie vid to Charlie's Angels and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. It is a character study of The Thin Man (a.k.a. the incomparable Crispin Glover), with a healthy side-helping of Thin Man/Dylan. Quite fast-paced with some action sequences.

Very, very well done! Your time and effort really showed in this with all the rapid cuts (and no loose frames, YAY!), the matching to lyrics... everything blended together so perfectly.

Sad to say, a lot of the meaning was lost due to my lack of knowledge for the character/pairing/movie... but that does not diminish my love for the vid. In fact, I want to rent this movie now just for him. ^^ (I <3 Crispin, yes I do.)

Given my lack of knowledge, I just have to ask a few questions.... whats with the hair-fetish? Is that explained? Does he die just as he finds his true luff? (seemed to be so from his kiss with Barrymore's character)

Sword-play is hawt. Artistic smoking is hawt. Crispin is hawt. ....Feck. I'm going to have to see this movie now ><

My one and only complaint concerns the audio of the song. It was a little hard to hear/fuzzy. Other than that... major, major awesomeness!

The hair fetish wasn't really explained, but they did say in the second movie that he pretty much had it since he was a kid. He had a "death scene" after the kiss, but his character is notoriously hard to kill so who knows? Maybe he survived. I hope so!

Hmm... I'm not sure what the audio problem is. It might just be the mix of the studio recording, which I guess is a little fuzzy. but I can't really tell since I can't hear whatever you're hearing. Very strange - I should check that out. Thanks for letting me know!

Meh..he made the weird fetish hot, the impish lil bastard. And I, too, hope he lived. Because he's the only real reason, aside from Tim Curry, to watch either movie. (Course Curry dies in the first..)

Well, the audio problem *could* be a low meg file. I've noticed that with my vids; the lower the megs, the worse the quality.

I downloaded the song and matched it with the vid cuz I loves it *that* much ^^ Unfortunately, I have to save it as 720x480 which will stretch out the vid quality. Gr.

Any way you could save your vid higher above 8mbs? That should help the audio quality.

Anyway, this has been my grr thing for a while now. My program doesn't let me save more than the current quality. And if I try to save in another format, namely avi because that's really the only other option open to me, the audio goes out of sync. Rats.

Your vidding program = oddness. What do you use? I only have WMM2 available to me... but no complaints here. Its served me well enough, particuraly in my latest bout (http://www.livejournal.com/users/yuna_firerose/123896.html). ...Sorry, shameless pimp am I. ^^

I downloaded the song and matched it to your vid... but, as mentioned, to save it as the best *audio* quality (er, around 50megs) the only option was 720x480...which is widescreen. (Going 640x480 would've butchered it, so I didn't even try). It stretched the vid a bit, but surprisingly, not by much. Would you like me to upload it for ye?

I'm pretty involved in fanfic for some fandoms, but I'm very particular about what I read, so I'm afraid I'll have to respectfully decline to follow down that path. Also I am pretty particular about stretched vids too, they are something of a pet hate so I would rather not have a stretched version of my vid floating around online. I don't like seeing my work altered. Thank you for the effort, but again, I respectfully decline.

I use Intervideo WinDVD, which is very basic, but I'm attached to it. I tried using Pinnacle Liquid 6, but that's only really good if you have something like a 300Gb hard drive with nothing else on it, so... no go. I believe I commented on your Tainted Love vid already a while ago. :)
