Hi all!

Wanted to get some input on what people use for clipping and how they like it - at the moment I'm using Easy Video Splitter but it is imprecise and does weird things to my clips.

I'm on Windows 7 and I'm mostly making clips from AVIs - what does anyone else use? Any recs, tips?

I just use windows live movie maker to cut the clips and then import them into sony vegas. *shrug*

I use MPEG Streamclip -- it works on both Mac and PC.

I use Virtual Dub, it's a pretty accurate tool.

Technically speaking, I don't clip. I import whole episodes into Sony Vegas, and then create a library of "clips" on the timeline, but without saving them as separate files (hence the scare quotes). :-)

I also use MPEG Streamclip and love it!
