Thank you for all the help you gave me on my first ever fanvid (posted yesterday). I'm working on my second and would like to know: how does one get a DVD into the Windows Movie Maker? Do you open the DVD in the Movie Maker program? Or do you save the DVD to your comp somehow while it is playing? Any help would be very appreciated, thanks!

3. Once converted, you'll go into movie maker and hit "File", "Import into Collections". This should produce a popup menu where you'll be able to browse and find your movie file. Movie Maker will then import the file and make clips of it, if you want it to do so.
This is a pretty complicated process and I must admit that I'm still not overly pleased with the product I get from it. Be warned that it takes a lot of time and energy.
Hope that helps some, and if anyone else has a simpler method for burning DVDs I would be interested. :)
