This was such a strange, endearingly bombastic song, and I was in a mood to do something sappy and overly sincere.

If the music genre gets on your nerves, try hanging on a while longer. That kinda goes for the character as well. I never do unmitigated angst without some kind of uplifting aspect in there, so it's not what it appears at first.

6 Forever Knight music videos remastered in mp2 and mp4

As long as I'm making the mp2s, I thought I might as well remaster the songs from digital files closer to the originals. Makes things brighter, but Forever Knight video quality is never what you wish it was. There's actually one middle section in Badlands that's still from off the air Beta tape. Turns out that they placed the credits in a different place at the start of "Last Act" than they did in the DVDs. So you actually got more usable vampire suicide scene off air. My intention is to chunk my way through the Forever Knight videos if there's interest in the remastered mp4s and mp2s. Otherwise I'll start working on getting up mp2s from some other fandom. Lyrics and score - the video actually was made to the lyrics. I transcribed the original score of maybe 2/3 of this light opera into the Mozart music program and this is the midi result. For quite a while I got the most marvelous catalogs from the music place in London. I've usually used the various songs from the 'The Duenna' as slash vehicles.

Possible LJ MEP group??

Ok, so I had a very random, and possibly even a little crazy, idea today and I wanted to see how many people would actually be interested in it before I made any solid plans.

I’m sure a lot of you, especially anyone who watches or makes AMVs, have heard of MEPs before. For anyone who hasn’t, a MEP, also known as a Multi-Editor Project, is a fan video made by more than one vidder.

There are a lot of MEP groups on Youtube but as far as I can tell there aren’t really a lot (in fact I really couldn’t find any but if I'm wrong feel free to let me know) on LiveJournal. So I was wondering if anybody would be interested in joining if I started one.

It would be open to everyone and all fandoms. The way it would work (at least at first) is that I would pick the song and then break it up into parts for others to claim and edit for. Then once all of the parts are done, everyone would send them back to me and I’d put the whole thing together and upload it probably to Youtube and for download.

Speaking from experience, they can be a lot of fun and a great way to get to know new people. :D

So, would anybody be interested in something like this?
