... for online LoTR vids. There must be some that are decent quality, now that the DVD is out, right? There was a Boromir/Aragorn slash vid that I liked but it's been taken down. I've seen the ones by ... oh shoot, what's the name ... they're set to Enya and Celine Dion? Good vids in their own right, but not my preferred style of music. I like a little harder edge. If anyone has any recs for good LoTR vids (slash or any genre is fine) I'll take 'em.

I'm tempted to ask if there are any Harry Potter movie vids around, but I'm afraid to know :)

You mean that Boromir/Aragorn to "Crawling"? *So* wasn't my favorite song ever, but I loved the editing, especially how the motion worked during the non-screaming bits.

Gen LotR vid recs: [livejournal.com profile] syxer7's The World's Address (http://www.versaphile.com/fanwork/lotr/address.html) (it's a TMBG vid! Woooooo!) and I'm Too Sexy (http://www.versaphile.com/fanwork/lotr/toosexy.html)... about Gandalf. I love it.

Some links I can think of at the top of my head.

Nice ones but not the best, by far.

VB's vids are quite amazing. Try "Brothers in Arms"

I have more links somewhere, but my bookmarks are a mess.

*snarl* You mean there was an A/B vid and I somehow missed it, and now it's not available? *wail*

I found a great vid to Queen's It's A Kind Of Magic a while back, but I can't seem to locate the link I got it from. *rummages around some more* Hrm. I remember it was done by someone who normally only vids anime... but I can't seem to find the URL or the name. GRR!

I love all of Pam's vids, though Address is my fave of hers.

I truly adore "Life is a Road", from the Anastasia soundtrack... beautiful, beautiful LoTR slash vid. http://www.angelfire.com/va3/strange_music/

Haven't seen any HP vids. Strange...

It's by Dina Lerret. I have it on my hard drive, still. (It was announced on the vidder yahoogroup.) Feel free to AIM me at ieehjdas; I'll file-transfer it. Offer's open to whoever else wants to check it out, too.

If your inbox can handle a six meg file, I'd be willing to send it to you that way.

AHA!

The Queen vid is by ManiacNun, and it's available at http://www.maniacnun.com/amv.htm along with anime vids in fandoms I'm mostly unfamiliar with and so can't comment about.

Awesome, awesome vid. I especially liked how the balrog strikes were on-beat with the music.
