Newbie // Question

Hey all. I'm new at the whole vidding thing, but have two vids under my belt and am working on the third. I've been browsing the memories and have found some really helpful tips, thank you!

There is one technique I'm hoping to use in this current video that I just haven't come across in the memories: and that is using video clips ripped from dvds and the film soundtrack independent of each other.

Ripping dvds using DVDShrink, converting to .avi using CinemaForge
- Willing to invest:
Would if I could but I can't.
- How serious are you:
Well, this is just a hobby. I want to get better but school and work take priority. I am willing to take the time to rip things two, three times using multiple programs if it means getting the result I want.
- Programs Tried/Technical Difficulties:
I'm using Windows Movie Maker to edit these videos. CinemaForge is wonky and only allows me to convert to .avi, which gets the job done, so I don't complain.
- Aspiring Fandoms:
I'm a die hard Jonathan Rhys Meyers girl. *hears crickets*
