Hi all - I'm new to the community and come begging your help.
Okay, so I've just downloaded a vid, and I tried to play it in Media Player. I got the sound track just fine, but there was no picture - it was just like I was playing a music file, even though it was definitely a video clip. I tried RealPlayer and it gave me an error saying that it needed to download new software to play the clip, then said that there was no software available for this clip. I tried WinAmp - same happened, I got sound with no picture.
It's happened with some TV episodes I've just downloaded too, and I really can't figure out what it is. For all I know it could be something very obvious, since I'm pretty clueless when it comes to vidding and file formats and such. Anyway, if anybody could help me I'd be eternally grateful - it's driving me nuts having a folder full of stuff I can't watch.
Thanks :)
