Hello, I've just finished my first vid with Vegas 9 and I've found myself hitting a wall. I've tried rendering it in several formats (avi, mp4, wmv) but the problem remains: it will not render the clips I've sped up.
I've altered the time flow of a grand total of six clips within the vid, slowed down two and sped up four; the program rendered the two slowed down ones just fine, but the sped up ones just show up as black. I tried selectively rendering them (shows black), I've tried selectively pre-rendering (shows up black). If I check it out on the timeline it looks fine: all the frames are there, the program recognises the clip, etc. but it just won't give me the finished product!
Help, please? I've exhausted my limited resources already, I don't know what else to do!

Date: 2009-05-14 02:14 pm (UTC)One thing you can try, if you want to keep resampling on, is render out the problem sections -- without the change in playback rate -- to AVI using a good quality codec like DV, Lagarith, or Huffyuv. Replace the problem sections with these new files, apply your playback rate changes, and try rendering the whole thing again.
