this is really beautiful. it's almost impossible to single out specific scenes, although i especially love the ending - fading out on the pair in the basement, with the song title between them just perfectly encapsulates the ambiguity of the relationship - at least insofar as Buffy is concerned. and so much better than Spike's ending in Chosen.

this is such a great song choice.....it invites so many different ways to match the lyrics.....the pairing of the Fool for Love scene where she says "it could never be you" with the lyric "you send me to a broken state" is just one example of your genius for scene/lyric matching. and the first "go on and scare me to death" paired with scenes from smashed/wrecked - so interesting to see these eps from Spike's POV....he acts so self-satisfied but her emerging passion, tho he knew it was there, probably did scare him to death. i'd never thought of that quite that way.

two small things that i'm totally in love with: the scene where they are drinking together (from Life Serial) followed by the scene where Spike is attempting to drink himself to death after Drusilla forsakes him is just lovely. and the "scare me to death" at 3:23 with the focus on Buffy, cause yes, she is also terrified of the emotions he evokes (provokes?).

gorgeous overlays throughout (the cemetery walk and the church sequences are pure bliss)

love this video. thanks for all the pains you took to make it so perfect.
