could you please recommend some program for video editing, something very simple for cut&paste editing, not big and scary monsters like Adobe Premiere or Ulead Media Studio?

I actually found Windows Movie Maker less comprehensible than Premiere, but maybe my brain is just funny :)

Is Windows Movie Maker still only available for XP? I'd love to try it out, but I have W2K.

Try Virtual Edit (http://www.virtualedit.net/home.htm). The free "Lite" version is all I need to make vids; it's missing some special renders but I don't think that's a big deal. And it's really very easy to use, though I've never tried any of the big scary monsters (free is good d-: ).
