What a wonderful combination - Lithium Doll and a Lost vid'.
I noticed your acknowledgment of the copyright holders. Wise. Zip file number 47. Cute.
Had trouble making out the lyrics at some points - especially the segment at approximately 44 seconds. The vocal is different to what I'm used, however, I don't dislike it. The song is appropiate (the intro sounds as if it could have been part of the score). It is also chaotic (what could be more chaotic than a plane crash and its aftermath).
Enjoyed the use of fades to black - those are tricky to sync' as used here.
Loved the fast-paced action of the vid'.
Good character moments.
Nice overlays (I note how you've used similar scenes - works well IMHO). I see that you've gone from dissolve to dissolve (rather than letting scenes play out). I love this effect.
Like the gun on the prominent beats.
I'd love to see this on a big screen (ie, I think it'd make a good con' vid').
Wow, thank you for taking the time to comment so much, very appreciated as you probably guessed from my notes I was less than convinced with this one *g*
The 47 is a happy coincidence, but I snickered over that one too.
The song is from the soundtrack to Titan AE and I've patiently waiting for a show to come along it was suitable for since forever *g*
Fabulous, as always. The song is perfect for this show, and I love your editing choices all the way through. My favourite bit, however, is right near the end where you have the quick cuts of everyone's past on the final chorus. Lovely.
BTW, your vids looked great on the big screen at BASCon. Thanks so much for sending them.
Dude: I thought this fucking rocked, but you wouldn't think it if you read your own notes on it first--which I didn't. So I was oh so happily surprised to realize it was a Lost vid, and a fucking awesome one at that. I love the running and the Kate triangle and the knife. So. damn. cool. Favorite vid ever.
*lol* thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I should probably stop writing the notes just after I finish the vid, they're usually not a good sales pitch *g*
