Hi, I'm Greens *waves* I'm new 'round here and was directed this way by [profile] phoenix39.

I'm having a problem with my WMM and I was hoping somebody here would be able to help me. I can't save my videos. I finished a video and clicked to save to my computer. It tells me that the estimate time remaining is 41 minutes and then increases from there. (100 minutes, 200 minutes etc.) It doesn't stop increasing. I don't know what to do to save my video.

Can anyone give me an idea of how to fix this problem?

ETA: SOLVED THANKS EVERYONE!

Thanks!
Greens

Here is where I go when I have problems, need transitions or effects. Great group of folks over there who are very helpful.

The wonderful, frustrating world of WMM. The same thing happens to me quite a bit. Make sure your file is saved, then close out of WMM. Reopen the file and try saving as a movie again. If that doesn't work, reboot your computer and try saving. If it still doesn't work, you might be in trouble. With WMM if you use a LOT of tiny clips, effects or transistions, it will freeze up on you like that. I usually save my file into a movie about every 15 seconds and when/if it starts doing that, I split the file in two by importing whatever I have from the last saved movie into a new base file and building the rest of the file from there. Did that make sense? If not, feel free to ask a followup. Sometimes it's hard to explain through typing.

mine does that quite often, I just let it get on with it after about quarter of an hour it goes back to reasonable times, it can be a pain in the arse sometimes.
