The video isn't so much focused on Peter himself, but the journey he's on. Mainly the idea that he's trying to prevent a future event that he's witnessed himself, which is where I found the connection to the song.
Time is also an important element in the vid, especially early on where I kept coming back to the clock counting down to Peter's death. But it applies to the whole thing really, with Peter running out of time to stop the bomb.
