Two of Yvi's Vic/Mac vids are up at my site now, down the left hand column. They're Heaven Is A Place On Earth and Love's Funny That Way.
I know what you mean about the het-as-the-enemy thing. There are certainly some unpleasant het fans out there, especially in MSR and to a lesser extent DRR. Not so much in Krycek/Marita - there are a lot of Krycek/Marita fans who are also Krycek slashers. I think to be a Krycek/Marita fan you sort of have to accommodate the idea of a dysfunctional relationship to start with - the idea that you can love someone and still have a fucked-up relationship. Because of course Krycek/Marita have their own ups and downs as well.
I have a love-hate relationship with slash, myself. I'm bisexual, very active in queer communities, and to be honest to me it feels like a lot of slash appropriates my reality and twists it into something it isn't. I do read some slash and watch some slash, but I'm very picky, and pretty easily annoyed by slash that seems voyeuristic at my (or my community's) expense. Mind you, my former flatmate is gay and he doesn't have any of these idealogical hangups about it - he loves it. So, you know, different strokes and all that.
Anyway, enjoy the vids! And Yvi's email addy is on the site, so do drop her a line if you enjoy them.
