Two variations of the same video:
4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
Air Supply's "Here I Am" for Kirk/Spock. mp2 237 MB; mp4 34 MB.

WHY TWO!
In the past, I used to combine full screen movies with full screen series clips. The movie clips came from laser disks, which was okay in the days when everything came from lasers, but looked their age when they were combined later with the series from DVDs. Try as I could, I just could not get full screen Trek movie DVDs. So I finally gave in and got the wide screen versions. These were great when the video was all from the movies, but doing my own pan and scan full screen versions from the wide screens resulted in fuzzier movie clips than I was happy with. And the brand new Trek DVDs are so brilliant that these new remasterings really are driving me crazy.
So, in frustration, I just learned how to combine full screen series with wide screen movies (requires blending full screen clips on top of wide screen black). But I feel like I'm doing something dodgy, so I'd really love to hear from you.
What's your preference? A video with the movie and series clips the same size (4:3 aspect ratio), or a sharper video that leaves the clips in their natural size? Or both video forms, I guess, would be another preference.
Thanks in advance for your kindness and help, Mary
