Sony Vegas Low Memory at Start Up

I have Sony Vegas 7. It was working okay for the past year or so until a couple of days ago. Now I keep getting 'low memory' whenever I try to start it up. I know it's low RAM and not actual hard drive space.

Has anyone had this problem and fixed it other than buying more memory? I've not added anything new to my system and deleted as much as I can from my hard drive just to be safe.
