Escapade Vid Show Deadline Announced: Friday, February 16, 2007

We just heard the details on the Escapade vid show.

The deadline has been extended to:   Friday, February 16, 2007   (although if this is your first time submitting a vid, you may want to send it in early so the vid show coordinator can work out any technical issues with your files).

Submission process: write to the coordinator if you're planning on sending your files in electronically and she'll give you the details. Katharine (katharine@escapadecon.net)
Mail in method - see the website (the info from last year has not changed)

Don't forget to fill out the vid submission forms for each vid you submit

Encoding method - also on the website (again the method from last year has not changed).

The vid show coordinator should be ready to receive submissions this week.

Adobe Premiere for OSX (new)

"After dropping OS X support for Premiere some time in 2003, Adobe is bringing it back in the new Adobe Production Studio. The new software includes After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Encore DVD, and Soundbooth, and will be available for Apple's Intel-based computers in mid-2007; an updated version of the Windows suite will ship at the same time."

Adobe Premiere 6.5, the last version for OSX, was released on July 7, 2002. It was designed to run in 10.1 but it also worked in 10.2 (as far as I know).

Summary: This is a Nine/Rose vid. It's not really shippery or anything. It's more of a companion piece, telling the story of a traveler who shows his world to his new companion. He's forgot to tell her one important thing though - that's she's gotta be careful what she wishes for.
