Introducing a daily fandom newsletter for Vidding, [livejournal.com profile] veni_vidi_vids.

January 1st is here and January 2nd will be posted later tonight.

Any kind of feedback is welcome, and there are some questions for discussion embedded in the Jan. 1st post. Please let me know if you are interested in being a reporter for a particular day of the week, in being a back-up reporter, or in helping out by locating vidding information off of LJ (twop, amv.org, farscape fantasy, imeem, etc.)

Right now the watcher LJ is set up to read fandom newsletters, fandom vidding coms, and other comms where one might find vids reported, discussed, or recced. It is not watching fic-only or icon-only comms nor is it watching pairing-specific comms. The watcher LJ will get unmanageable if all individuals who talk about vidding get added. Hopefully what isn't picked up by one of the watched communities will get reported for linking in comments.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and I'm extraordinarily confused why my AVI clip, which includes audio, does not play its audio when inserted in the timeline (but the video portion does work). Now, if I play the clip by itself without inserting it into the timeline, it does work, both video and audio. So what's going on? The audio is not muted, and is enabled.

I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro, and for the first time since my use of it, it refuses to import clips.

I've tried:
1) Shutting down the computer and restarting
2) Starting new projects
3) Checking the Virtual Memory and ending as many unneeded processes as possible
4) importing several different files.

Nothing works. I'm completely flabbergasted. *pulls out hair*
