Does anyone know of any Star Trek TNG video collages that I could download anywhere?

I found the Picard techno mix at ebaumsworld.com and found a few tribute to Scotty ones at startrek.com, but no others.

You know how at conventions or during marathons, they have a collage of video clips with background music...

Hi all. I'm having a problem with ripping clips from dvds. I'm hoping a few of you here might be able to help.

Problems with commentary and foreign language tracks )

Thanks very much in advance for your help.

Edit:

Murphy's Law. As soon as I post asking for help I finally find a tutorial that solves the problem.

Tutorial here for those having the same problem.

If anyone has decided to upgrade their video capture card and no longer has use for their Pinnacle DV500+ and it still works well, I'd be willing to buy it, if the price is reasonable. Bare minimum is the PCI card (preference on NTSC and PAL compatible) and break out box. Additional software is a nicety but not a necessity since drivers can be downloaded from their [obsolete] site. Preference on buying within the US but I'd consider international, if the seller is willing.

My Win98SE system likes its DC30+ card but the import/export resolution is limited to an average maximum of 608x456, which the resolution is okay if you're not combining footage from a DVD rip at its native resolution or plan on exporting to DVD (worked fine to VHS but my export no longer works properly)... However, this is becoming gradually uncommon as preferences lean more towards digital means.

Thanks,
Dina

Jane Oliver's "Manchild Lullabye" is up, 30 MB, mp4, as is Barbra Streisand's "Memories" from Kirk's POV, 32 MB, mp4. The other version that's already been up was the one from Cats, done to Spock's POV. Also a few Due Souths that might not have been up before - Diamonds and Rust, and Mama Told Me. I was trying to make a new Star Trek DVD master (#1, most of the slash) and discovered that Tapestry creates error messages so it, like He's Dead Jim, will only be available in download.

Hell (again) everyone.

I've been browsing the memories and haven't really found an answer to my question, so here goes:

I'm actually looking for some editing software that will allow me to work with .mpeg files. Nothing fancy to begin with, just piecing several together then saving as one big .mpeg file to get myself started.

And seeing as I'm fairly broke at the moment, I'm hoping some of you might have recs for programs that are either free-to-try, freeware, shareware, etc.

I've been trying with Windows Movie Maker with no luck. I'm running on Windows XP.

Thanks very much in advance.
