So after much drama and gnashing of teeth, I figured out how to use Ulead Video Stuidio 9, and made an entire vid using it, but by the time I got the vid back from my betas to edit it, the trial had run out, and now it won't let me use the program at all. It keeps asking me for a name and serial number, and even with all the keygens I've tried, it still won't work. I managed to torrent the program, but the torrented file was basically a bunch of .bin and .cue files that apparently I have to burn to disk or something to actually use. And considering my previous luck with trying to get pirated copies of this program, I'm not all that optimistic that it will even work if I get it to the point where I have an .exe application.

Now, the thing is, I *do* have Ulead Video Studio 8, which doesn't require me to go out and buy it to use it. And comparing some files that I made using 8 and ones that I made using 9, the file extensions are exactly the same--it even says underneath the vid file I am trying to open, 'Ulead Video Studio 8 Document.' *But* UVS 8 won't open it--it claims the file type isn't supported. And really, if I *can* make this vid using UVS 8 rather than going through all the trouble to attempt to get 9 back, I'd much rather do that.

So... my question is to anyone who has experience with UVS. Is there any way to make it recognize and use this file?

.::. I made my very first fan.vid. a couple of days ago, but my computer ate it... so i made this just to contribute something and to get things going. This is not the best i can do... trust me.. this is all based on one episode. The next vid will be much better, but bear with me for now ok? Thanks and don't forget to comment .::.
