I need suggestions

Well someone suggested a piece of music for this Illyria video I want. It's Carima Burina by Carl Orff. If you have no idea what the piece is, if you heard it you'd know. They use it in movies all the time, especially movie trailers. I always thought the piece sounded so religious and have always loved it. It has the passion that I wanted.

Whether I learn to make this music video myself or actually get someone to make it for me, I'm not sure yet. Are there any vidders out there than can give me advice and tips for starting out? Anyway, here is my idea.

Software/Hardware Suggestions Needed

Hey everyone, I'm sorry, this question has probably been asked over and over again but I just don't know where to ask anymore ::holds head "I'm so confused!" :: <g>

What would you guys recommend/suggest for hardware and software to vid? Any capture cards better than the other? Same with software?

I've never vidded before but apparently the bunnies are just as rabid on the vid side as they are on the fic side, the bloody bastitches.

Help?
