The other DVD player we have is a Panasonic DVD-RV31, though I'm more reluctant to hack that one, since it was more expensive and generally nicer to me. Also, I've been reading that you have to do hardware things to Panasonics, and I'd really rather stick with a button-pressing solution.
Does anyone know anything about http://www.dvdexploder.com/how.htm ? Four pounds British for access to their list of hacks, which may or may not include either of the DVD-players I use. I'd pay if I knew one of them was ON the list, but I can't even see the list. So I'm kind of wary.
