Question on vidding history

vidding_livejournal_ark2My brother asked me what was the earliest material ever vidded, and I immediately answered "first vid was a TOS slideshow, basically," and then he clarified, what was the oldest source material, regardless of when the vid was made?
Anyone know? I can think of things older than TOS--Man from UNCLE, original Doctor Who back to 1--but I don't know about earliest. I mean, gosh. Has anyone vidded I Love Lucy? Chaplin? A Trip to the Moon?
