I hope someone can assist me...

I recently re formatted and installed the all in one codecs pack...After the reformat i was unable to rip clips from downloaded avis...am i missing something to be able to do this? I currently use DVD2AVI, Virtual dub and VDUB Mod..The avis wont even open in them...i didn't have this issue till after i reformatted..

You probably are still missing a codec somewhere.

that's what i thought unfortunatly it don't tell me what i need just that it was missing parimiters or something like that

If virtualdub goves you an error, just google the code. That should tell you.

it sounds like you are missing the codec...

to get codec information right-click on the video file, and choose "properties" and click the tab that says "summery" it should be listed next to compression and if that doesn't work, get a program called GSpot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) and drop the file in it.. find out what codec it is you need and install that :3
