Where To Post Besides YouTube!
I'm a vidding newbie, and just tried to upload my third video to YouTube. Only for the sound to be muted because the song belongs to WMG.
I didn't think I would have this problem firstly because I'd seen the song used in several vids before, so thought it would be okay. And, while looking around this site, I followed a link to an article about WMG music being allowed on YouTube. But I guess that info must be out of date.
My question is, where else can I post the vid besides YouTube where it won't be fiddled with. Or should I go ahead and post the vid on my own webhost, then embed it in my LJ?

Disputing has worked for me more than a few times, but sometimes it doesn't work.

Bamvidvault.ning.com is the most fanvid-friendly site around.
you can also try having a backup account in Youtube.

(Though, I wouldn't bother with Sony Music or UMG. Any dispute I've made against their claims have failed.)
