Mummers' Dance (HP: POA vid)

Song: Mummers' Dance by Loreena McKennitt
Fandom: Harry Potter (POA film only)
Size: ~5.1megs (vidlet but exported at 640x360)

Right click on file and 'save as':

Personally, I use Player 8. If you don't have Real Player installed:

(Windows and Mac)

I had the butchered copy of this song around. This vid turned out more as an exercise in editing since I hadn't done fades in awhile. There is a DivX version (clearer video) of this vid but it's at 20+megs and I'm having problems with large file uploads.

Thanks to those here who had encouraged tinkering more with effects. They may not have been the most effective on this vid but I did learn some new things through experimentation.

Sadly, RP will not work on my computer. I've tried everything. Including downloading the premium version. Just will not run on this computer.

I'm certain it's a beautiful video, though!

Hey, how did you get OS X RP to handle this? Mine keeps skipping and skipping.

That's RP-for-Mac's crappy processing of videos for which the natural dimensions are very large. Try reducing the window size; it helps a bit.

that was great! how'd you combine the zooming harry eye scene with the dancing harry's parents scene?? what did you use windows movie maker 2? that was a great effect...!

Very nice! I really enjoyed this. The pace of fading scenes into one another went great with the song.

What an awesome vid! I loved the constant motion throughout it; really well done! Do you have a higher quality version of it available?
