All of Spuffy, most of Boston Legal and House are up now

We've started the process of sending the address of the new machine around but, while it's zipping its way, some will still see the old machine. But, when you finally DO get to the new machine, you'll find all of Boston Legal, Spuffy and House, except for the Christmas carols. That's how you'll know if you've gotten to the new machine! More will be coming.

We've also gotten the feedback comments working again, and are infinitely grateful for anyone feeding back while we lean back and pant a bit.

All of the videos that are up have the fix for the new player version. Even if you don't have trouble now, you might with a future version of a player so it would be conservative to download the videos again.

Bless you for the heads up! The email never arrived, and it looks like you posted an hour so ago. Paul says that only 1/4 of the emails from the advanced announcement email list made it out, so I'll show him this (when he wakes up! it was a long night trying to get these going) and see if he can figure out the email problem.

Regarding the videos, Running on Emty had no downloads because I can't spell the blasted word. Running on EMPTY is now working. I hope. The way it works here, I set a bandwidth of a round number for each video, and only Running on that! one! had no downloads. The others all had multiple ones. So you might want to resend the body of your email here just in case.

By the way, have I told you lately how brilliantly beautiful your icon is? Well, I should have.

Against the Wind was misspelled, too. That's fixed.

Weight, I couldn't see a problem with. I ran the program again that makes it accessible, just in case I missed doing it when I was doing all the others.

Paul won't be up for a few hours, but I'll put him onto the email when he gets up. Hopefully Weight will work for you.

I did send mail to you at yahoo half an hour ago. Can you tell me if you received it? I'm seriously wondering if we can get mail to yahoo. I tried unsubscribing to a a yahoo group maybe five or six times, always failing. I've started to wonder if the mails ever got through. Obviously, we should replace emails and the Internet with the Pony Express. Their mails always got through!

Paul says our website has its 12th anniversary tomorrow. Of course, it started out as a little thing of maybe 6 pages. I was working in multimedia at IBM Research before we took early retirement. We had too many of the "not invented here" problems, and it was SO exciting to get out into the big world. One of my best friends was my first teacher in the guts of computer languages, and I remember her telling me about this Social Security system she was looking at with a government contract, and that turned out to be the precursor of the web. She worked with some of the inventors. On the other hand, she was also the one with the stories of having to fly up north to little air force bases and walking up to this little plane where a man was jumping the plane battery. Once he started it, he put on his pilot's cap and invited them in so he could take off. There were so many great stories.

Love your phrase about the t-shirt. Oh, gawd, that just reminds me of another story. I was in a group at IBM involved with examining the interface between people and computers. I'd been the chair for programming languages, and one of my friends was the chair for human/computer interfaces. After I left, she gave me a contract to videotape her conference in Boston and make a music video about the event. It was immense fun. She gave me these five little college students to help me with the equipment, and it was like going everywhere with a train of ducks. She held a Boston T-party where everyone came in a T-shirt that said something about their most important concerns so that they would be ice-breakers for this humungus party.

I hide a lot of my stories in my fanfic so I won't forget them. I should put that one away, too.

It's already a wonderful day. The website's up and almost working!! Hope spring makes it out your way.
