A vaugeish question

Hey guys

I have been co-vidding with someone and having some issues. She says that the video is 'stretched' and has a huge black border. It looks totally fine to me (the aspect ratio is fine and the black boarder is small). I am on a PC, she is on a Mac. I believe what is happening is that my Premiere is set to auto-correct for wide-screen, and her's isn't. How would I change mine? Or is it just a Mac vs PC thing and it will look fine on the internets? Anyone have any ideas?

She is using Premiere CS4. I am as well. Which is why this is so dang weird :/

Could be some kind of codec/format issue? What sort of files are you using or transferring back and forth?

Oh, it's also possible she could be bringing her files into a project with completely different project settings than you.

Well, apparently, it was even when she viewed my exported MOV. Which I thought was really, really odd. I sent her a screenshot of what it looks like on my screen, and it's totally different than what she is seeing, and her screenshots look exactly the same as mine (to me). SO I am thinking either Codec issue or just a weird PC-->Mac thing.

Yeah, sounds pretty strange. :\ I guess as long as you have a third person check out your final product, you should be ok. :)
