An experiment in vidding

After Vividcon 2009 I returned home with a desire to try using a strictly instrumental source. Normally I rely heavily on lyrics as well as the music to give structure to my vids, but I'm convinced that pairing the right instrumental source to well-selected and cut clips can also deliver the right emotional impact.

The source for this vid is Holby City, a BBC medical soap that most Americans will be completely unfamiliar with, but that's actually good for what I need. This short vid tells the tale of a man infatuated with his sister-in-law who finds himself working close with her on a daily basis. He gives in to temptation and then gives realizes that it cannot continue. This strong story line appealed to me partly because it features a woman in her 40s as desirable and sexy and also because the man is played by Peter Wingfield.

So, I'd love to hear what people think of the vid. Does it work? Is the pacing good or is it too slow? How well does the tone of the music suit the emotional tone of the video clips?
