Yes, boys and girls, I've finished my very first vid! A short little ditty called Best Friends.

RealMedia, 7.2Mb. Considering every single clip was pulled from DVD, I'm very unhappy with the quality of the .rm file. Any tips for exporting to RealMedia?

This is also a blatant plea for critique.

Don't. Just... don't. Do a .avi, do a .mov, do a .mpg, do a .wmv..., well, no, don't do a .wmv, I hear complaints about those too. (If you're getting huge files with those formats, try halving your screen size. People don't need or expect online vids to be at DVD resolution.)

But if you have to do realmedia? Choose the smooth motion option rather than the sharp image option.

(You might want to mention what fandom your vid is, since this is a multifandom community. You don't even mention characters.)

Cute vid. I personally would have kept the song running underneath the last dialogue bit at the end there, but I can see how it would have been distracting.

Well, I detest Quicktime (more precisely, it hates me) and the .avi was over 25Mb. I'll try a smaller screen size with the .avi. Thanks.

The song actually ends where you hear it fade, and the dialoge has background music already. When I extended the music under the end credits I'd tried it under the last clip, but it just didn't work.
