Okay, I made a vid some months back and I had a
problem with Windows Movie Maker not importing the .avi files. It was suggested that I download the Klite Codec pack, which I did. This allowed me to import the .avis; however, I still had a problem when I went to publish. I don't remember exactly what was going on, but I do remember figuring out that I needed to uninstall DivX, which I did because I thought I no longer needed it with Klite. I actually deleted it after I uninstalled it. Well, time passed, and I decided to try my hand at another vid. I used DVD Decrypter and then went to use AutoGK, but it won't open because I don't have DivX or Xvid. I tried downloading DivX and it still wouldn't work. I did some research online and I found that AutoGK doesn't work with newer versions of DivX.
So does anyone know what version of DivX I need and where I can find it? Alternately, is there something you would recommend I use instead of AutoGK. It would have to be freeware that is compatible with WMM. Also, I have Vista (64-bit).
