DVD ripping

So I have always used DVD Decrypter for ripping("always" meaning ever since I got it back when it was easily available *g*) but I've now run into a couple of DVDs that it can't handle, probably due to changed copy protection(although I'm not certain about that). Also, I'm moving to a new computer and I'm not sure if I'll be able to transfer the program. What do you use to rip DVDs? Preferably something that lets you select individual chapters, that lets you rip video only, and that results in .VOB files.
