said - here, let me try and do screencaps.
The Frame Blend option shows in two places,
once when you right-click on a clip
(http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3095/2588969191_a047188268_o.png)
and
once when you go to "Clip > Video Options" in the main menu.

It's set to be enabled by default, and whenever I try to turn it off for more than one clip at once, the option greys out. Grar.
